The brewery Haacht is apparently not ashamed of brewing beer with corn. Brown dubbel with a series of Tongerlo is in fact equipped with a tasteful, as usual, the label and the entire squad for the counterattack, which, inter alia, proudly listed corn. No and well, after all beer is good taste and should not be proud of the more traditional ingredients sikaczem, as so often happens. Tongerloski Dubel is a very good beer, better than the Tripel, Prior of the same series. red-dark beer creates a very abundant but is a relatively stable foam. At 6.5% alcohol to feel it only by a slight dryness, such as ethanol as a lack of flavor. The first strikes a strong odor of green banana, which, however, after a while, blending into the background, giving an opportunity to mark their presence to other elements fragrance, namely coffee, karmelowi, forest fruits and black cocoa. Compared with moderate przyprawowością nutkami and faint scent of roasted corn makes a very good impression, which is supported by the taste. Highly saturated demanding beer drinker happy with a mixture of berries and plums, a touch of banana and black cocoa. A little przyprawowości with this mixture and the result is fully satisfactory. Slightly dry taste convinces no hops, which are generally not sensed, and an interesting hint of bitter cocoa. The consistency of the beer is for such a composition perhaps a little too rare, and Brown does not reach the quality Tongerlo probably the most popular means Leffe Bruin dubbel, but it is a very good dubbel worth tasting.
